It was my first time ever making homemade jam. My dad went to the fruit garden and picked a lot of apples and plums, when you don’t use any pesticide is always a race between you and other animals for who get the fruit first. It is a little bit of a pain but honestly I wouldn’t want it any other way, if even bugs don’t want to eat it way should I.

So we had all this fruits, my aunt Assunta baked many pies but we realized it would have been too much, so we decided to make jams; no sugar added homemade jams. I soon discovered that making jam take a lot of patient and stirring, at the end of the day my harm was really sore but it gave me the opportunity to spent some quality time with my aunt. We chatted for hours going trough our good and bad times of the past years. We had an amazing time and we produced delicious apples and plums no sugar jam.
