Hummus has really old origins, it’s known all around the world and mostly used in the Middle Eastern and all the Mediterranean areas. Hummus is traditionally made with garbanzo beans and is very tasty, especially if it’s home made, it makes a great dip and a side for many dishes.
Hummus with a twist is an easy recipe to enjoy the classic garbanzo beans paste with a little extra flavor. I took same green olives and a green bell pepper, chopped everything down really thin, I added to the mix a few drops of extra virgin olive oil and some fresh grinded pepper. I added this mix to the classic garbanzo paste and served with a nice variety of multi grains crackers. All my friends loved it and it pairs perfectly with a fresh beer.
